Hey Napoleon, what'd you do last summer again?

Hello. Or as we say in branch 1: "Lei hou!" (I am actually not in banch 1, I'm in branch 2, and that's Cantonese, not Mandarin, and I have no idea if it's spelled right or if they even use pinyin).

I recieved several packages this week, and I would like to thank everyone who contributed. From all sides of the Heumann family, as well as my loving parents and brothers, just know, everything is very much appriciated. (Exept, of course, for those cookies, Joe. I can't believe you sent those bioweapons into the MTC).

Now, whose exited for Christmas? Me! The festivities begin tonight here at the MTC. We're watching "A Christmas Carol" (I don't know which version, though). We're also doing some other stuff, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. I'm looking forward to our call tommorrow, but, to be honest, I'm not quite sure what we're gonna talk about. We already communicate with each other weekly, so it's not like we don't know what's going on in everybody's lives. Whatever. I'm pretty sure that they do this more for the family than for the missionary (In fact, I know they do).

So... Let's think. Oh! I saw my all-character nametag this week. We're not allowed to have them until we leave the MTC, but I snuck a picture, and I'll send it later.

One of our teachers, Brother Chia (or Jia Laoshi as we called him) (Actually, we usually called him Jia Baba, but whatever) is no longer working at the MTC. We will get a new teacher on Tuesday, and I think it's going to be our rescource teacher, who is nice. It's just odd that the teacher we've had for this whole time is gone.

We're doing a secret santa thing in our district. The rule is the thing that you buy them has to be under $5 at the MTC store, so I bought my person a Danish Book of Mormon. Because why not?

Ummm........ I blessed the sacrament this week. It was a little wierd doing it in Chinese, but overall it was about the same.

In choir for Christmas, we're singing a song. (Bet you couldn't guess that!) I can't remember the name at this moment in time, as it's not one that I had ever heard of before, but it's pretty powerful. I wish I could send you a recording, but, I'm pretty sure they'res no way to do that.

Well, not much more to say. If you have any additional things you want to here about, I can tell you tommorrow.

Until that time, farewell.

-Benny the Bet Bith

P.S. I feel like I want to include a Lord of the Rings quote in this email, so here you go:
"I would have followed you my brother. My captain. My king."

P.P.S. Okay, just one more.
"And what do you want, Gandalf Greyhame? Let me guess, the key to Orthanc? Or perhaps the key to Barad-Dur itself? Along with the crowns of the seven kings and the rods of the five wizards!"

P.P.P.S. Last one, promise
"We shall have peace. We shall have peace when you answer for the burning of the Westfold, and the children who lie dead there! We shall have peace, when the lives of the soldiers whose bodies were hewn, even as they lie dead against the gates of the hornburg, are avenged! When you hang from a gibbet, for the sport of your own crows, we shall have peace."

P.P.P.P.S. OK, really this time.
"Farewell, my brave hobbits. My work is now finished. Here at last, on the shore of the sea, comes the end of our fellowship. I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil. It is time, Frodo."

P.P.P.P.P.S. Just Ooooooonnnnne more...
"I regret to announce, this is the end. I'm going now. I wish you all a very fond farewell. Goodbye."

P.P.P.P.P.P.S
Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou, I said, art sure no craven, ghastly, grim and ancient raven wand'ring from the nightly shore. Tell me what thy lordly name is, on the night's plutonian shore. Quoth the raven: Nevermore.
