"Uhhhhhhhh......" (Starts flailing about wildly)

Quote of the week explanation

This week we went on exchanges with our zone leaders. At one point, we went to contact somebody who lived in this one apartment complex. They weren't home, but we did talk to this one guy outside. He was an... Interesting character, to say the least. He was basically just trying to mess with us the whole time. First, he was standing by his car, so I went up and said hello to him. The moment I spoke, he turned and yelled, at the top of his lungs: 

"SATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!" 

This caught me a bit off guard, but he then said in a more civilized voice "Nah, bruh ahm just messin' with yuh." We have a little conversation with him, and then he actually lets us come into his apartment to teach him. The lesson never really got anywhere, though. At one point, my zone leader asked him how he thought his relationship with God was. To this he responded: "Uhhhhhhhhhhhh...." and then he just started flailing around on the couch, as if he was wildly seizing. He convulsed like this for a straight minute before finally stopping, sitting back up and saying "Yeah, it's pretty good." The lesson didn't end up going anywhere, and we left that day with nothing but an interesting experience.

Hello there.

Today's letter will be a bit shorter, as we only have a half P-Day today and we are trying to get stuff done other than composing letters (As much as I like sitting and writing heart-felt messages).

Unfortuanatley, we weren't able to extend baptismal invitations to our people this week, as they were not keeping their commitments. Even more stingingly, one of them went so far as to drop us, because she has "no time". We'll try her again in a month or so though, because she is still super solid.

Like I mentioned earlier, we also had exchanges with our zone leaders. We had a really good exchange, and it was definitely a good time. I have really liked all of the zone leaders I have ever had, so It's always a good time. We had some interesting experiences, such as a butt-naked old man answering the door, and the one that I described in detail at the beginning. 

Other then that, it has been a good week. I apologize for the briefness of this letter, but I suppose you now have more time to spend frolicking about the pastures.

P.S. I almost forgot, we also had zone conference this week. It was really good, always a pleasant experience.
