"I decided I wanted to learn Spanish, so I started eating at Taco bell"
Quote of the week explanation
We went to Taco Bell this week with the district for a post-district council dinner before finding. One of the elders uttered a classic, as seen above.
We had a really good week this week. You'll have to forgive me, our P-day schedule is looking a bit wonky today, so this may be a shorter one.
We had some classic miracles happen this week.
Elder June and I were tracting, and we knocked on a door that was answered by a woman. "Well, that's not to unique" you may be saying, "women answer the door all the time." And you'd be right. Women do answer the door all the time, but slightly more rare is when somebody answers the door actively in tears. She answered, and my companion didn’t see that she was crying at first so he asked the question "how are you?" And that made it start pouring. We introduced ourselves as the missionaries, and she composed herself a little bit and said "of course you are." She opened up to us that she was having a really hard day. She said that she was doing the 12-step program for addiction recovery and that she just started step three last week. "Surrender yourself to God." She also said that she had been doing really well in keeping her composure, until she had received a stinging text from her ex-boyfriend and had broken down. She said she fell to the ground and started praying for deliverance. And moments later we knocked on her door.
That's happened enough times on my mission now that anyone who thinks its mere coincidence is overwhelmed by the sheer number of times its occurred. This is number 5.
Well, that's about all I have this time I have today. Have a pleasant afternoon.

P.S. We also had another prayer answered this week. We were biking and Elder June's bike broke... Again. We had an appointment like right then and we had no idea what to do so we prayed for guidance and literally right after we finished a member pulled up and was like "you need help Elders?" And they had a car that was big enough to put our bikes in and take us to our appointment.
P.P.S. Lard
P.P.P.S. Three minutes!!!
