"I don't know who invented raisins, but I hope they were arrested"
Quote of the week explanation
A true statement indeed...
Well here we are again, gathered 'round to hear told the tales of octagonal octogenarians.
I'll pause while I let that one sink in.
Anyway, nonsensical introductions aside, this week we received notification of 29 reassigned missionaries who will be arriving in our mission next week. In terms of my companionship, nothing is changing; and the same is true for each other companionship in the San Francisco zone. Mission leadership is trying very hard to cause ad little disruption as possible in the organization of the mission, so for now a lot of companionships mission-wide are in trios, and when the official transfers happen in a few weeks they'll proceed to shake things up then. The instalment of missionaries which we are expecting next week is one of at least three total, which will be taking place approximately every three weeks. We will be close to our regular number (in terms of missionaries) once we get them in next week, but once we get the additional instalments the mission, already full, will "indeed be filled to overflowing" by the time all is said and done. Exciting times we're living in.
We continued grinding on the phone calls, and were able to have quite a bit of success in setting up teaching appointments and meeting with people via zoom. With the three wards, there are quite a few people we are working with, and many who are making very good progress, so we are kept quite busy.
But I suppose I will end it there. With all of our appointments now taking place from within closed doors, there's really not too much to tell.
So yeah.
Bye.
P.S. The Pauline epistles, eh?
P.P.S. Sushi Burrito
P.P.P.S. Just a thought: your tongue knows what stuff feels like. Even if you didn't lick it. Look at anything. Your tongue knows what it would feel like to lick that. Interesting, huh?
