Team roster: the prophets

 PG: Joseph Smith

There's no one else I'd want running the floor. No matter how hard the game is, he's gonna give it all he has to make sure his team comes out on top. He's led his squad to victory against the odds time and time again. (D&C 135:3). Best floor general out there. (D&C 121:39-44)

SG: David

Don't even try defending him, he's not gonna miss. The Philistines put their biggest guy on him and he nailed it in his face. He's deadly from distance and just as effective up close. (1 Samuel 15:49-51)

SF: Alma the Younger

He's had his lows in the past, but he knows that and is determined to not get there again. (Alma 36:16-24). He wants the victory more than anyone else (Alma 29:1-2), and he makes everyone around him better. (Alma 10:10-11). Don't mess with him 1-on-1; he'll take on the other teams best guy and wreck him. (Alma 2:29-31).

PF: John the Baptist

He's an absolute nightmare for opponents on offense, and will never back down when under pressure. (Mark 6:18-20). Prophets and Apostles have written sermons on his dunks. (Matthew 3:13-17). Jesus himself called him the GOAT. (Luke 7:26-28).

C: Moses

He split the red sea with a wave of his hand, and he can clear the paint just as easily. (Exodus 14:21-28) Egypt's big man tried to go up against him and got completely shut down. (Exodus 10:7). He's the best in his class, and his ruthless play style strikes fear into the hearts of his opponents. (Deuteronomy 34:10-12)

Bench:

Sixth man: Russell M. Nelson

When the game is winding to a close and the score is close, Russ can jump in and give the team the boost they need to pull through. He led the world through a global pandemic, and he can lead his squad to the win no matter how stacked the odds may seem.

Peter

He doesn't quite crack the starting lineup because his lack of confidence can hold him back at times (Matthew 26:69-75), but when he's on he's unstoppable. (Acts 5:14-16). His bold play style sometimes gets him into tricky situations, but he's always able to get out and keep grinding, and always willing to take one for the team. (Acts 5:38-42)

Moroni

In a late game situation where everyone else is ready to tap out, this guy can jump in and finish. He's fearless and unrelenting, even when the other team is beating down on his own. (Moroni 1:1-4)

Nephi

Unparralelled work ethic (1 Nephi 16:20-24), and has the best attitude of anyone on the team. (1 Nephi 3:5-7). Whatever coach needs him to do he's gonna get done, regardless of how crazy it may sound. (1 Nephi 17:49-51)

Elijah

If you want someone who can stand on the sidelines and heckle the opposing team, this is your man. Nobody can talk trash quite like he can (1 Kings 18:27), and when he's on the court he's gonna humiliate them even more. (1 Kings 18:30-40)

Coach: Enoch

His words inspired an entire city up to heaven (Moses 7:69), and they're gonna inspire his team to many a championship. Early on in his career he lacked confidence in his coaching ability (Moses 6:31), but once he got over that he quickly became the most feared and respected coach in the league- even the mountains listened to him for crying out loud. (Moses 7:13)
